CAFC9, 9th Congress on Catalysis Applied to Fine Chemicals

10th Intl Symposium - PREPA10

The 10th International Symposium on the "Scientific Bases for the Preparation of Heterogeneous Catalysts" will cover the following topics: scaling-up, shaping and macrostructured catalysts; basic understanding and innovations in unit operations; nanostructured catalysts; hierarchical porous supports and hybrid catalysts; in situ spectroscopic follow-up of catalysts preparation. These topics will serve as guidelines for the sessions in the programme of oral communications. Out of the papers retained, 40 will be presented orally, including 5 extended communications (one for each topic). The 193 other selected contributions will be presented during two poster sessions. Additionally, the opening invited lecture given by Prof. Galen Stucky (University of California Santa Barbara) will address the question of the nanoscale integration of heterostructures in chemo- and bio-catalysis. In general terms, all contributions will mainly focus on catalyst preparation, the discussion of physico-chemical and catalytic properties being dedicated to identification and control of the preparation parameters
